Bridge
Summer Mission
Every summer, The Bridge sends a team on a short-term mission trip. It is one of the most formative experiences our community offers and a chance to serve beyond LA.
NLVC (Korean Ministry)
Partnership
We partner closely with the Korean Ministry on their mission efforts throughout the year. This past summer, youth leaders served in Tijuana, and teams have made trips to Mexico throughout the year to serve alongside local ministry partners.
Missionary Spotlight:
Rev. Joseph Unchol Oh and his wife Sarah, have been serving as missionaries in Nairobi, Kenya for the past four years. Before returning to the mission field, Rev. Oh faithfully served our church family for 15 years as the Executive Pastor of the Korean Ministry. He also previously served as a missionary in China.
In Kenya, Rev. Oh teaches Materials Science and Engineering at Kenyatta University, trains local pastors, leads Bible studies, and partners with a local church in one of Nairobi's most underserved communities. Through his work, students are coming to faith, a local church is growing, and leaders are being raised up.
We are honored to partner with and support Rev. Oh and his wife as they bring the gospel to East Africa.
